About This Role

Milton Mount Primary School is a thriving three-form entry primary school with approximately 630 pupils and 90 staff. We are seeking a highly organised, professional and proactive Senior Leadership Team Administrator to provide high-level administrative support to our Senior Leadership Team and play a vital role in the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.

This is an exciting and varied role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and building positive relationships with staff, parents and external professionals.

  • As SLT Administrator, you will act as a key point of support for the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteachers, SENCo and School Business Manager. The role combines executive-level administration, SEND administration, HR support and project coordination, ensuring the school operates efficiently and effectively.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Managing diaries, meetings and appointments for members of the Senior Leadership Team.
    • Coordinating meetings, preparing documentation and taking accurate minutes.
    • Supporting safeguarding processes and maintaining confidential records.
    • Leading the administration of EHCP annual reviews and SEND documentation.
    • Producing reports and maintaining accurate pupil and staff records.
    • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, staff absence management and training administration.
    • Coordinating staff wellbeing initiatives and school development projects.
    • Providing administrative support across the wider school when required.

    About You

    We are looking for an individual who:

    • Has excellent organisational and time-management skills.
    • Can communicate effectively with staff, parents, pupils and external agencies.
    • Is highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Has experience working in an administrative office environment.
    • Maintains absolute confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Is proactive, adaptable and able to work independently.
    • Demonstrates a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

    Desirable Experience:

    • Previous experience in a school environment.
    • Knowledge of Arbor or other school information management systems.
    • Understanding of GDPR requirements.
    • Knowledge of safeguarding and education-sector compliance requirements.

Compensation

£28,546.00 - £30,581.00 Annually (FTE) pro rata £13,643.30 based on 20 hours p/w
