Heronsgate is a thriving and diverse Key Stage 2 academy on the south-eastern flank of Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will:

• Be a qualified teacher with a minimum of 4 years teaching experience
• Hold the national award for SEN Co-ordination, or be working towards it
• Have a good understanding of the principles and implementation of inclusion
• Be able to evidence consistently good and outstanding classroom practice across the curriculum
• Be knowledgeable in supporting the progress of pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs

The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher and experienced SEND practitioner with a proven ability to lead, inspire and improve outcomes for children with additional needs. They will possess excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills and be committed to ensuring that inclusion remains at the heart of everything we do
