Position Title: School Psychologist

Supervisor: Director of Student Support Services
Position Summary: The school psychologist plays a crucial role in fostering students' academic, social, and emotional success. This position involves conducting in-depth psychoeducational evaluations, providing preventative services, and addressing the unique needs of students. The school psychologist will work in collaboration with school personnel and families to design, implement, and evaluate individual and group interventions, ensuring that each student receives the essential support to thrive. As an integral member of the Student Support Team, the school psychologist will deliver important services that promote the social and psychological well-being of children and their families. This includes overseeing bilingual services to enhance family welfare and improve children's overall functioning. Additionally, the school psychologist will support teachers by offering insights on effective methods to emotionally assist students in the classroom.
Furthermore, this role will involve working closely with P-12 counselors to create a holistic school counseling program that prioritizes the social and emotional development of students from preschool through 12th grade. The school psychologist will also connect with families to provide various parenting education initiatives that cater to a diverse community, ensuring that all students have access to the necessary resources for their success.
Applicants should have a solid understanding of MTSS and UDL frameworks to deliver multi-tiered academic and social-emotional support to students at all levels.
