About This Role

King’s College Doha is seeking a passionate Teacher of Physics to join our faculty in August 2026, responsible for delivering outstanding instruction in the Secondary School and Sixth Form.

Role Overview:

The appointed candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality Physics instruction across the Secondary School and Sixth Form. You will inspire students to cultivate critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills through an engaging and innovative curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Design, prepare, and deliver outstanding Physics lessons that are engaging, challenging, and inclusive.

• Develop comprehensive schemes of work and lesson plans that are aligned with UK curriculum standards.

• Utilize various teaching methods and digital resources to enhance student learning.

• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support students’ academic growth.

• Prepare students for external assessments, including GCSE and A Level Physics.

Pupil Enrichment

• Organize and facilitate extracurricular programs such as STEM clubs, competitions, and educational trips.

• Motivate students to explore career paths in Science.

Pastoral Responsibilities

• Contribute to the overall development of students through effective pastoral care.

• Participate in co-curricular and enrichment activities throughout the school.

Curriculum Development

• Create stimulating learning experiences that enhance understanding.

• Develop innovative, high-quality subject-specific resources.

• Assist in sourcing and managing specialized materials.

• Ensure alignment of the curriculum both vertically and horizontally.

• Analyze student progress data and take necessary actions to secure outstanding outcomes.

• Regularly review practices and engage in continuous professional development.
