Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term)

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, make progress, and achieve their potential. Working closely with teachers and the SEND team, you will provide high-quality support to individuals, small groups, and whole classes, adapting your approach to meet a range of learning needs.

This is a flexible role, with deployment across different classes, year groups, and settings according to the academy's needs. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment by reinforcing teaching, promoting pupil independence, supporting behaviour and wellbeing, and contributing to the implementation of individual support plans.

Alongside classroom support, you will assist with assessment activities, maintain accurate records, supervise pupils during transitions and unstructured times, and undertake administrative tasks that support teaching and learning. As a positive role model, you will uphold the values of The Collegiate Trust, engage in ongoing professional development, and maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times.
