Kindergarten Teacher
About This Role
1. Act as the kindergarten homeroom teacher, remaining with students throughout the school day as necessary.
2. Partner with the Chinese homeroom teacher to formulate the semester work plan, ensuring alignment with the school's teaching timetable.
3. Teach essential subjects for the kindergarten homeroom, including English, Math, Science, among others.
4. Provide a well-rounded, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for students while supporting designated curriculum areas as required.
5. Actively participate in the curriculum development process.
6. Collaborate with the Chinese homeroom teacher to design kindergarten decorations that correspond with the monthly themes.
7. Engage in various aspects of school life related to the subject, such as organizing pertinent field trips and educational outings.
8. Assist the department in developing Schemes of Work and in implementing departmental development strategies.
9. Fully engage in the dynamic life of the school and contribute to the functioning of this international institution.
10. Manage the classroom environment, encourage the integration of ICT into lessons, and monitor student work and assessment grades while keeping records of student achievements.
11. Take prompt intervention measures if assessment and report grades suggest concerns regarding a student's progress in your class.
12. Collaborate with and support fellow department members in a collegial manner.
13. Prepare reports and input assessment grades as needed.
14. Show genuine interest in all students within the classes and assist the department in keeping current student class lists upon request.
15. Work together with administrative support staff as appropriate.
16. Help the department analyze examination results as necessary and proactively seek and share teaching resources with colleagues.
17. Attend parent meetings and other school events as directed by management.
18. Conduct teaching and research activities weekly.
19. Actively take part in school-organized field trips.
20. Provide at least one extracurricular activity for students, reflecting a commitment to holistic education for all.
21. Assist with any additional responsibilities, tasks, or duties that management may reasonably assign.
