The role of Junior School French Teacher-On-Call will be activated as necessary to support teaching and learning in the Junior School (Kindergarten - Grade 7). Responsibilities:
● Act as Teacher-on-call for Grades 1 to 7
● Provide coverage for the French program for Grades 1-7
● Leave detailed notes for the regular teacher following each assignment
● Assist in supervising students during non-instructional times
● Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff as needed
● Deliver personalized instruction and learning assistance to individual students as required
● Participate in co-curricular activities and clubs as needed

Requirements/Qualifications:
● B.C. Ministry of Education Certificate or Independent School Certification
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Native-like fluency and a strong command of the French language
● Experience teaching French as a second language in an elementary context is preferred
● Strong organizational and time-management abilities
● Commitment to the philosophy of teaching the whole child
