About This Role

About our School
Hanoi Toronto School is truly a unique educational institution in Vietnam. Established in August 2022, it stands as the sole school in the country providing international and integrated programs for Primary and Secondary levels (Grades 1-12) that align with the Ontario, Canada Curriculum.

The Ontario Curriculum in Canada is widely recognized for its design that enables every student to realize their full potential through a coherent, relevant, and age-appropriate learning framework. It acknowledges the need for students to become critically literate, allowing them to synthesize information, make informed choices, communicate effectively, and succeed in an ever-evolving global landscape. It is crucial for students to connect with the curriculum, seeing their reflections in the content taught and how it is delivered, as well as its relevance to the broader world. The curriculum addresses the diverse needs of learners, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to become informed, productive, caring, responsible, and engaged citizens in their communities and beyond.

Ontario has developed robust curriculum frameworks, resources, and achievement standards for both primary and secondary education. These frameworks are periodically revised in consultation with curriculum developers, parents, educators, and other stakeholders. The Ontario Ministry of Education offers sample activities and assessment rubrics aligned with the curriculum by grade and subject, enabling teachers to incorporate relevant activities and evaluations into their instruction that meet curriculum goals.

At HTS, this curriculum is tailored to fit our international and Vietnamese context while maintaining equivalence with other major global curricula.

International Schools Partnership (ISP)
HTS is a member of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the largest global educational networks, encompassing over 90 schools across more than 20 countries. Students and staff gain from being part of the ISP community through active engagement in various global learning opportunities. ISP is dedicated to the professional development of its staff through its Learning First strategy.

HTS also has a sister school in Ontario, Lynn-Rose, a prestigious Canadian private IB world school, which is a fellow member of the International Schools Partnership. Collaboration with Lynn-Rose College allows our students to pursue the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and provides opportunities for exchange or transfer to study in Canada.

Hanoi Toronto School is committed to delivering the highest quality educational outcomes by employing contemporary teaching and learning practices in state-of-the-art facilities. Our students experience Amazing Learning, which promises substantial progress, performance, and achievement. The learners are central to our mission—simply put, their success equates to our success.
