TLT Scale: Grade G, Point 8 - 13 (Full time equivalent: £26,824 - £29,064)

33.25 hours per week over 38 weeks during the school term, plus 5 staff training days per annum

The Role

Rushden Academy is now looking for a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work on their own initiative and should have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Coach or Teacher - or be a graduate with a proven interest in a career in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise whole classes during the short term absence of teachers.
  • Support students in their learning and development.
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

Qualifications

Both Non Teachers and Qualified Teachers are welcome to apply. All applicants must have at least five good GCSEs or O Levels including Maths and English.
