Are you an enthusiastic, caring and reliable individual looking to make a positive difference to children's school experience? Normandy Village School is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to join our friendly team and help create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable start to the day for our primary-aged children.
Working as part of our wraparound care provision, you will support children before the start of the school day, encouraging play, social interaction and positive relationships in a nurturing environment. You will help supervise activities, promote children's wellbeing and ensure that every child feels happy, safe and ready to learn.
This is a term-time only position working Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 8:30am (5 hours per week). For candidates who would like additional hours, there is also the opportunity to support our After School Club on Fridays from 3:15pm to 6:00pm, increasing the contracted hours to 7.75 hours per week.
We are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working with primary-aged children
- Is friendly, approachable and enthusiastic
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Has good communication skills
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Can create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment for all pupils
