Who we are:
Established in 1950, Bellver College is a co-educational, non-denominational day school and holds the distinction of being the oldest privately owned British school in Spain. We currently cater to around 200 students aged 3 to 18, welcoming both local and international families in Mallorca. Our one-form-entry approach allows us to maintain small class sizes, with no more than 20 students per form.
Situated in a residential area just 3 km from the heart of Palma de Mallorca, our campus is directly across from the King of Spain's summer residence and in proximity to the beach. The favorable climate of Mallorca contributes to a lively cultural and economic atmosphere throughout the year.
We are seeking a talented, considerate, and innovative Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead the development and enhancement of an inclusive support program for our students.
This is an outstanding opportunity to build an SEN program from the ground up, developing systems, practices, and a supportive culture while working closely with a committed leadership team, dedicated teachers, and an experienced global inclusion consultant. The successful candidate will be instrumental in both strategic and operational aspects, ensuring that all students with diverse learning needs are empowered to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally at Bellver College.
The SENCO will take charge of promoting inclusive practices throughout the school, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on coordination, coaching, and teamwork.
