About This Role
- Qualified teacher status (QTS)
- Recent successful teaching, or teaching practice, of National Curriculum PE at KS3 and KS4 and academic PE.
- Experience organising and facilitating extra-curricular sports opportunities and teams.
- Ability to engage students in both practical and academic Physical Education
- A good knowledge of the National Curriculum in Physical Education
- A knowledge and understanding of data and how it can be used to raise standards
- An excellent communicator
- High expectations of oneself and of students
- A commitment to and interest in the well being, support and achievement of students
- A sense of excitement about teaching and working with young people
- A belief in teamwork and co-operation with adults and students
- A willingness to challenge oneself to seek continuous improvement
