STEM Teacher - Ansan
About This Role
Saint Paul American Scholars (SPAS) is a growing K-12 educational district committed to nurturing responsible citizenship and equipping students for higher education. Our mission encompasses core academic subjects while also imparting vital ethical values, including courage, compassion, integrity, justice, truth, reason, fairness, respect, and honesty.
Creating a positive school atmosphere is essential, characterized by outstanding teaching and effective learning among students. This requires a safe environment for all members of SPAS, alongside a strong emphasis on citizenship and the equitable enforcement of rules throughout the Saint Paul Scholars community. We acknowledge the crucial role parents play in their children’s educational journey, highlighting their significance in promoting student success and behavior.
At SPAS, we seek educators who perceive their role as extending beyond traditional teaching. Ideal candidates are those who genuinely wish to support struggling students, challenge high achievers, and seek to understand the factors influencing student performance. Their dedication is driven by a commitment to ensure that every student not only survives but flourishes. These educators aim to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to improve the educational experience for their students.
Candidates should understand that teaching involves more than merely assigning, collecting, and grading work. If this statement resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
