About This Role

About our School
Hanoi Toronto School is truly a unique institution in Vietnam. Established in August 2022, it is the only school in the country that offers international and integrated programs for Primary and Secondary levels (Grades 1-12) based on the Ontario, Canada Curriculum.

The Ontario Curriculum is widely recognized in Canada for its design that helps every student achieve their full potential through a learning program that is coherent, relevant, and appropriate for their age. It acknowledges that, today and in the future, students must be critically literate to synthesize information, make informed choices, communicate effectively, and thrive in an ever-evolving global society. It is essential for students to engage with the curriculum, see themselves reflected in what is taught, understand the teaching methods used, and comprehend how it relates to the world around them. The curriculum addresses the diverse needs of learners, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and perspectives necessary to become informed, productive, caring, responsible, and engaged citizens both locally and globally.

Ontario has developed comprehensive curriculum frameworks, resources, and achievement standards for both primary and secondary education. This curriculum is regularly revised in consultation with curriculum developers, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders. The Ontario Ministry of Education provides sample activities and rubrics tailored to each grade level and subject, enabling educators to integrate activities and assessments that align closely with curriculum objectives.

At HTS, this curriculum, which is comparable to other prominent global educational frameworks, has been customized to suit our international and Vietnamese contexts.

International Schools Partnership (ISP)
HTS is part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), one of the largest networks of international education, comprising over 90 schools across more than 20 countries. Both students and staff benefit from being part of the ISP community through various global learning opportunities. ISP is committed to the professional development of its staff through its Learning First strategy.

HTS has a sister school in Ontario, Lynn-Rose, which is a premier Canadian private IB world school and a fellow member of the International Schools Partnership. Through collaboration with Lynn-Rose College, our students have the opportunity to obtain the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and the possibility of studying in Canada at Lynn-Rose through exchange or transfer programs.

Hanoi Toronto School is dedicated to delivering the highest quality educational outcomes by employing the latest teaching and learning practices in state-of-the-art facilities. Students at HTS experience Amazing Learning, which signifies substantial progress, performance, and achievement. Our learners are at the core of our mission, and their success is our priority.

At HTS, we prioritize the well-being of children in all our activities. They are encouraged to embody qualities such as kindness, trustworthiness, respect, and accountability. The school fosters an exceptional environment that supports children in their academic and social development, preparing them for a successful future.

Equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including a theater for music and arts performances, various sports amenities, ICT suites with the latest digital learning technologies, and remarkable outdoor learning areas, HTS boasts some of the finest facilities among international and private schools in Hanoi.
