The Role

• Curriculum Excellence: Deliver engaging General Science lessons throughout Key Stage 3 and specialized instruction aligned with the Cambridge (CAIE) IGCSE and A-Level curricula.
• Disciplinary Versatility: We are in search of a teacher skilled in any core science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics). A background or strong interest in Marine Science would be particularly beneficial given our exceptional coastal environment and well-resourced department.
• Interdisciplinary Contribution: At BWIC, we value the "all-rounder" educator. The capability or willingness to provide teaching support in additional subjects—such as Humanities, Performing Arts, or Psychology—is regarded as a considerable advantage.
• Academic Leadership: Assist students in mastering the scientific method, engaging in hands-on laboratory experiences, and preparing for examinations, ensuring that every Spartan achieves their highest potential.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Scientist: Holds a recognized teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) and a strong Honors degree in a Science field.

• Proven Track Record: Experience in delivering the British curriculum (preferably CAIE) with a history of helping students achieve outstanding examination results.
