About the Role:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Early Years PYP IB Teacher to cover for a teacher who is on sick leave. The ideal candidate will be ready to join our team at the earliest opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the PYP and British National Curriculum to inspire students.
- Design and implement high-quality lessons tailored to a diverse group of learners.
- Continuously develop and refine unit of inquiry plans, ensuring they meet IB and British National Curriculum standards as well as our school’s objectives.
- Employ a range of teaching methods emphasizing inquiry-based learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop comprehensive instructional strategies as a united team.
- Evaluate and track student progress, offering constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their academic aspirations.
- Engage in school community activities, including extracurricular programs and events, contributing to the overall development of students.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Early Years education or a comparable qualification.
- Proficiency in English.
- Residency in Málaga to join the team promptly.
- Experience teaching PYP, Early Years, or a similar curriculum in an international school environment.
- Strong comprehension of the IB philosophy and framework.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to inspire and motivate students from various cultural backgrounds.
