Drama Teacher
About This Role
An enthusiastic Drama teacher is needed to instruct IGCSE and Key Stage Three students. We are in search of a candidate who can enhance our well-established tradition of performance and strong examination results, ensuring that all our students enjoy the ‘Joy of Learning’ in Drama.
Candidates must hold a relevant degree and a PGCE, along with at least 3 years of experience following qualification. You will become part of a vibrant and successful Arts department that values collaboration both within and outside the curriculum, and you will benefit from excellent facilities, including specially designed classrooms and performance spaces.

- The ability to work effectively within a diverse team of international staff is essential.
- Efficient organizational and IT skills are a must.
- You will plan, organize, and deliver lessons that foster a "love of learning," guiding and motivating students to achieve their potential.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives and success criteria for all learning activities.
- We seek to appoint an experienced Graduate with an internationally recognized teaching qualification and at least 3 years of teaching experience. The ideal candidate will be a creative and dynamic Drama teacher, capable of leading whole school productions and teaching Drama at IGCSE level and potentially A Level. Experience in teaching Dance is an advantage, though not required.
Requirements:
- A relevant degree and postgraduate teaching qualification are necessary.
- A minimum of six years of experience in teaching Drama is required.
- A willingness to engage in faculty-wide professional development models is essential.
- The capability to help all students reach their potential, regardless of their learning needs, is necessary.
