About This Role

At Rashid and Latifa School (RLS), our mission centers around our people. In line with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum's vision for a future molded by dreamers, RLS aims to be the most joyful workplace, dedicated to advancing education in Dubai. Founded by Royal Decree, RLS is committed to developing future leaders of the UAE and global visionaries through a curriculum that emphasizes culture, wellness, play, innovation, and community.

Within RLS, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) are essential in fostering inclusive, engaging, and curiosity-driven learning environments that embody our dedication to Playful Pedagogy and Transdisciplinary Learning. LSAs assist students across all classrooms and curriculum areas, from Early Years through Year 9, helping them access the curriculum through meaningful, authentic experiences rooted in real-world contexts. They play a key role in cultivating inclusive settings where students can take risks, build relationships, and develop self-regulation, resilience, and independence through playful and purposeful learning experiences.

Following the RLS Play Continuum and Experience-Based Learning (EBL) framework, LSAs collaborate with teachers to provide learning that is exploratory, imaginative, and attuned to student interests. They support inquiry, stimulate curiosity, and maintain engagement across various disciplines, ensuring every child, including those with additional needs, is empowered to flourish as a confident, creative, and empathetic learner.

This position upholds the belief that play is not merely a phase, but a principle—an effective tool for nurturing the skills and competencies of future leaders.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in positioning RLS as a 'Global Leader in Education,' implementing an engaging, adapted UK National Curriculum within an innovative and research-oriented environment. This role requires a leader who can integrate our core principles into the fabric of our school, guiding students toward a purposeful and fulfilling future.

We provide a competitive salary package, a strong commitment to professional development, and a culture of respect where every educator is regarded as a valued learning leader.

RLS embraces diversity and inclusivity in the workplace and encourages applications from all candidates who fulfill the job criteria.

We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and welfare of all children. We acknowledge our responsibility to take all necessary measures to foster safe practices and protect children from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Our safeguarding framework will ensure adherence to best practices, and thus applicants will undergo thorough background checks, with our interview process prioritizing safeguarding.

As part of your application, you will be required to provide your complete employment history and at least three professional references from the past decade (including your current Head of School or organization), which will be verified during the interview. Please have ready a copy of your passport, birth certificate, attested educational certificates, police clearance from every country where you have lived, and experience letters covering the last 10 years.

Applications will only be accepted if they include the following:
