About the Role
The position involves teaching Computer Science across Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and AS/A Level, with the chance to help develop interdisciplinary pathways, including connections with Business and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide exceptional instruction in Computer Science for KS3–KS5
•
Prepare students for their Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A Level Computer Science examinations
•
Create engaging lessons focused on programming, computational thinking, and digital systems
•
Assist students in utilizing computing skills in real-world and interdisciplinary scenarios
•
Participate in curriculum design and enrichment activities (e.g., coding clubs, competitions)
•
Foster a safe, inclusive, and innovative learning environment
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related area
•
Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
•
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting
•
Experience with teaching Cambridge IGCSE and/or A-Level Computer Science
•
Proficient knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar)
