About This Role
The Position
The Director of Pastoral - Primary School at Shanghai Concord Bilingual School Pudong Campus (hereafter referred to as “the School”) will report directly to the Executive Principal and the Chinese Head of Primary.
The Director of Pastoral - Primary School will collaborate with the Chinese Head of Primary to oversee the management of the Primary School, ensuring alignment with the School's policies, rules, and regulations, as well as adhering to decisions made by the Executive Principal and Chinese Head of Primary, alongside relevant laws and regulations.
In accordance with these guidelines and under the direction of the Executive Principal, the Director of Pastoral - Primary School will partner with the Chinese Head of Primary to effectively implement teaching, educational administration, and the daily operations of the Primary School. This includes, but is not limited to:
a) Academic/Staff Management
b) Curriculum/Teaching and Learning
c) Procurement & Budget
d) Admissions
e) Human Resources
f) Strategy/Marketing/Government relationships/Parent relationships
g) Concord Academy Support
h) Other responsibilities
