Curriculum Overview
Doha British School adheres to the National Curriculum of England, tailored to incorporate Qatar’s culture, heritage, and values. The school provides a seamless educational experience from Early Years through to Sixth Form, marrying academic excellence with strong pastoral care and a focus on personal growth.

The DBS curriculum across all phases is crafted to be engaging, rich, and challenging, merging academic rigor with leadership, creativity, and global citizenship.

Qualified candidates must possess:

A recognized educational degree, such as a Bachelor's in Education or a comparable qualification.

A validated teaching qualification like a PGCE or QTS with an Early Career Teaching Certificate (the PGCE must be backed by a relevant subject bachelor’s degree).

Outstanding subject knowledge, with significant experience teaching the National Curriculum of England.

Experience in teaching IGCSE and AS/A Level; (IB experience is preferable for applicants to the Ain Khaled campus).

A proven ability to deliver exceptional teaching and learning.

A strong dedication to enhancing the broader school community through extracurricular involvement.

This position is set to begin in September 2026; however, staff are anticipated to arrive in-country by mid-August for orientation and induction.
