Al Jazeera Academy is part of the Ta'allum Group of Schools, a thriving organization that includes three esteemed partner academies. Due to high demand, there are plans to establish two additional academies in Doha soon.
Al Jazeera Academy (Secondary School) is in search of a dynamic Teacher of Humanities to join our dedicated staff at our successful and evolving institution. The Humanities curriculum encompasses History, Geography, Travel and Tourism, and Global Perspectives, with instruction provided at IGCSE and AS level. Additionally, BTEC Travel and Tourism is available.

Salary and benefits package:
• Competitive tax-free salary based on qualifications and experience
• Two-bedroom fully furnished apartment with covered utilities
• Joining/repatriation airfare, annual return ticket, medical insurance, visa, and residency for yourself and one nominated dependent
• Private medical insurance for yourself and one designated dependent
• Complimentary schooling at Ta’allum Group Schools for one nominated dependent, including a 100% waiver on tuition, registration, and examination fees
• End of Service Benefit Gratuity of 21 days' basic salary in accordance with Qatar Labor law
Paperwork Requirements:
Notarized and attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, along with marriage and dependent birth certificates will be required. You will receive guidance on specific school requirements.
The candidate chosen for the role must provide a criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) before employment is finalized. Candidates residing outside the DBS authority will need to obtain an approved certificate from the corresponding authority in their current country of residence.
