Wellington College International Shanghai, which opened its doors in August 2014, is situated in the vibrant New Bund area. This fully co-educational day school caters to over 1600 students, ranging from 2 to 18 years old. The College comprises three divisions: Early Years (Pre-Nursery to Reception) located in the Early Years Centre, Primary School (Year 1 to Year 6), and Secondary School (Years 7 to 13) situated on the main campus. Our Early Years follow the English National and International Primary Curriculum, preparing students for a diverse range of IGCSE subjects in Years 10 and 11, leading into the challenging IB Diploma Programme in Years 12 and 13.
Our school has achieved a remarkable #2 ranking in China according to Hurun, the premier school index in the country, and is also featured in the Carfax Schools Index Top 150.
