The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering captivating, high-caliber lessons that foster strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and a passion for literature. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



Deliver motivating and interactive English lessons that support and challenge every student.


Design and implement high-quality work schemes that align with the school's curriculum.


Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, ensuring robust academic growth.


Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.


Contribute to pastoral responsibilities and the overall well-being of students.


Utilize ICT effectively to enhance the teaching, learning, and assessment process.


Collaborate with colleagues from various departments to promote best practices and consistency.


Engage in co-curricular activities, clubs, and school events as part of community involvement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A recognized teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE, or equivalent) along with a degree in a relevant field.


Exceptional subject knowledge and a fervor for teaching English.


Strong classroom management skills and the ability to facilitate progress for all learners.


Excellent organizational and planning abilities.


A positive, adaptable mindset and a willingness to embrace innovation and development.


Experience with IGCSE and/or IB programs (highly desirable).

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
