The Position: Teacher of English
We are eager to appoint a remarkable Teacher of English to join our team. English is the most sought-after subject at A Level in our College, with 18 groups across the entire cohort, presenting a wonderful opportunity to teach at an advanced level. The behavior at our College is deemed ‘outstanding’, and the positive rapport between students and teachers, along with highly motivated learners, allows educators to concentrate on delivering their subject matter effectively.
The successful applicant will be part of an exceptional department. In 2024, our results were impressive, with over 98% of students achieving grades 9-4 in GCSE English Language/Literature. For A Level English Language, 67% achieved A* - B, including 11% at A*/A. In English Literature, 85% attained A* - B, with 38% at A*/A.
