In this role, key duties include crafting and delivering captivating Orchestra music lessons, fostering students’ musical talents and appreciation, preparing them for performances and assessments aligned with the AP curriculum, and actively contributing to the school community.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education or a related field (minimum requirement)
- Teaching experience is not essential; a sincere passion for music education is vital
- Comprehensive knowledge of Orchestra instruments, repertoire, and performance techniques
- Ability to inspire and motivate secondary school students throughout their musical endeavors
- Excellent communication skills with students, parents, and colleagues
- Willingness to collaborate in a multicultural educational environment
