As Victoria International School of Sharjah (VISS) nears its 19th anniversary in August 2026, we reflect on our journey that commenced in September 2007 in Al Taawun with an initial enrollment of under 200 students. Over the course of 18 years, we have evolved into a successful network of educational institutions, featuring 2 IB World Schools that provide the Australian (Victorian) Curriculum from KG to Grade 12, including the IB Diploma Programme, currently accommodating over 5,000 students across five campuses.

Our schools are led by a proficient international academic leadership team with extensive experience in the UAE, backed by the VISS Schools Group, which is dedicated to delivering exceptional Australian and international education to a diverse global student body.

We seek experienced and enthusiastic educators to join our dynamic team. The preferred candidates will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that are aligned with the Australian Curriculum (adapted to our context) and fostering students into confident, independent learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet curriculum standards
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment, focusing on student wellbeing and safeguarding
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
• Engage in school initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
• A recognized teaching qualification and professional registration (e.g., VIT, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience in an international or Australian curriculum environment is preferred
• Regional experience is advantageous but not essential
