About us:
The Anglophone Section represents a distinctive part of a public French school, focused on providing outstanding educational opportunities for students from the English-speaking community. As one of nine international sections within the Cité Scolaire Internationale (CSI) Lyon, we serve learners from CP to Lycée (K-12 / Key Stages 1-5), offering a bilingual curriculum in both English and French.
About the position:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated and qualified part-time/full-time History & Geography teacher to become a member of the Anglophone Secondary Section team. The ideal candidate will take charge of teaching History, Geography, and Contemporary Global Studies, all in English.
Requirements:
- Native or near-native English proficiency is required.
- A teaching qualification in Geography (or History) is mandatory.
- Experience in teaching A-Level, OIB/BFI, AP, or upper high school levels is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a close-knit team are a must.
- Candidates should be enthusiastic, respectful, caring, and dynamic.
