Head of English
St. Andrews International School is on the lookout for a dedicated, skilled, and qualified Head of English to join our enthusiastic team.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- A recognized teaching qualification, which includes at least four years of experience, such as a Bachelor’s Degree combined with a Teaching Diploma or a Bachelor of Education.
- Previous experience in an International School setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrable experience teaching IGCSE or GCSE English Language and Literature, as well as IB English Literature and/or English Language and Literature, is crucial.
- Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- A collaborative mindset and a readiness to participate in the wider school community.
The School
St. Andrews International School Sukhumvit 107 (S107) features a spacious, green campus conveniently located next to Bearing BTS station in Bangkok. Catering to students from Nursery to Year 13, our institution serves approximately 700 learners from over 40 different nationalities. For Primary, our curriculum aligns with the English National Curriculum while adopting a learner-centered and inquiry-based approach that encourages students to make connections and broaden their knowledge across various disciplines.
At the Secondary level, S107 follows the English National Curriculum, culminating in IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme. We also offer alternative pathways such as BTECs and the IBCP for students who may find them beneficial.
