Introducing BASIS Bilingual School Beijing
Set to open in the fall of 2026, BASIS Bilingual School Beijing will bring our esteemed curriculum to China’s capital. Initially serving grades Kindergarten through 9, the school will expand to accommodate students from Pre-K through Grade 12, with a total capacity for 2,300 students and boarding facilities for up to 800.
Located on the north side of Anfu Street in Houshayu, Shunyi District, Beijing, BASIS Bilingual School Beijing is situated in one of the city’s key new urban developments. Shunyi is recognized as a center for international education and is an appealing area for foreign educators, surrounded by vibrant residential and expatriate communities that foster a rich cross-cultural environment.
At BASIS, we believe in nurturing authentic learning through significant challenges. From middle school onward, our students participate in advanced coursework, establishing high standards while building a solid foundation in core subjects. Each year, they delve deeper into these concepts, preparing for honors and Advanced Placement courses starting in ninth grade.
As an English Language Arts teacher, you will enhance this foundation of language and social studies skills, exploring topics such as writing processes, grammar, reading comprehension, and literary and rhetorical devices. Additionally, you will work alongside colleagues to develop interdisciplinary lessons that may incorporate subjects like drama or history.
Your responsibilities will include:

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in your subject area.
- Experience: Minimum of two years as a lead teacher in a classroom, which is necessary for securing a working visa.
