Job Overview
This position involves instructing Mathematics at Key Stage 3, Cambridge IGCSE, and A-Level, with the potential to engage in other subject areas such as Business, Computing, or Global Perspectives, based on the candidate’s qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
•
Provide exceptional instruction in Mathematics for KS3–KS5
•
Prepare students for their Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level Mathematics examinations
•
Design captivating lessons that foster problem-solving, reasoning, and analytical skills
•
Participate in teaching additional subjects where suitable
•
Aid in the development of the curriculum and enrichment activities
•
Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and academically enriching classroom atmosphere
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related discipline
•
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS or equivalent)
•
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an international school setting
•
Experience in teaching IGCSE and/or A-Level Mathematics
•
Strong subject expertise and capability to teach across various key stages
•
Exceptional command of English (native-level fluency preferred)
•
Dedication to Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning (EBL)
