Al Basma is a sought-after, high-achieving ENC School with a significant waiting list. We are looking for a Primary teacher to join our exceptional Primary team for the upcoming academic year.

Our seven-form entry institution currently serves 1950 students from FS1 to Y13. In September 2020, we launched a state-of-the-art Primary block for Year 3 to Year 6. We continue to expand by approximately 200 students each year and anticipate reaching a capacity of 2400 within three years.

As a BSO school (EduBase No.143834), we are pleased to offer a UK-recognized induction for candidates with QTS through the Early Career Framework, in collaboration with ESP Education.

Additionally, we provide a variety of GCSE, iGCSE, iAS, and iA Levels through Cambridge, Edexcel, and Pearson exam boards for our older students and are in the process of introducing various BTEC qualifications to tailor educational pathways.

Our school achieved BSO (British Schools Overseas) accreditation in May 2016 during its second year and has continued to advance, attaining a good rating with many outstanding features in May 2022. Since January 2017, we have consistently earned Band A ratings in the ADEK Irtiq'aa inspections. Most recently, in February 2022, we solidified our Very Good ADEK rating with numerous features classified as outstanding.

Successful candidates must provide two supporting references (including from the most recent employer) and a police clearance certificate, ACRO, or DBS no older than 3 months.
