The Position
We are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join our vibrant Secondary School immediately, to provide temporary coverage for a potential longer-term medical leave.
This is a full-time position teaching Science at Key Stage 3, along with Chemistry at IGCSE and IB Diploma levels.
You will become part of an energetic and supportive Science department that holds a prominent position within the school, with students consistently surpassing UK and international performance standards. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to delivering exceptional teaching and learning experiences, capable of inspiring students with a genuine passion for Chemistry and Science, and eager to engage fully in the broader activities of the school.
The ideal candidate will:
• Hold a relevant degree and teaching qualification
• Possess experience teaching Chemistry to students at school leaving age
• Exhibit a student-centered approach, effective classroom management, and adaptability to various learning needs
• Enjoy collaborating, sharing best practices, and contributing to the ongoing development of the department
