The Role
We are looking for exceptional individuals to join our Primary School team.
We invite passionate educators who possess the vision, ambition, and drive to play a significant role in our rapidly growing Primary School. We welcome applications from qualified, experienced educators from both state and independent sectors in their home countries as well as those with international teaching experience.
Requirements:
• A minimum of two years’ experience teaching English to students for whom English is a second language (ESL students).
• Experience in overseas teaching or with international students is advantageous.
• A high level of proficiency in English is required.
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to holistic child development.
• The capability and ambition to achieve high standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills, evident in relationships with students, colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
• A demonstrated history of providing exceptional pastoral care, prioritizing student happiness and wellbeing.
• Respect for every member of the school community, regardless of their role, gender, age, or ethnic background.
• A positive, solution-oriented approach to professional life.
• Prior experience working with non-native English speakers.
• A clean police record and no issues concerning suitability to work with children.
The following would be beneficial:
• Recent and active participation in extracurricular activities.
• Familiarity with or recent experience of the UK National Curriculum.
• A relevant degree and teaching qualification in primary education, such as a B.Ed. or P.G.C.E./QTS or an equivalent credential.
• Other certifications such as TESOL are acceptable.
• A Chinese teaching license is preferred.
