About This Role
Cambridge House British International School is an esteemed British international institution and was the first in Spain to receive both BSO (British School Overseas) and NABSS (National Association for British Schools in Spain) accreditation.
Established over 30 years ago in Valencia (East Spain), this forward-thinking school, grounded in strong family principles and delivering the English National Curriculum, currently serves 1,700 students and has adapted to cater to the demands of contemporary learners. The school accommodates students aged three to 18, who engage with the National English Early Years Framework and the English National Curriculum. In Years 12 and 13, students pursue A-levels and attain accreditation for the Spanish Baccalaureate, with the option to follow the BTEC pathway for vocational education.
We are in search of a Chemistry teacher who is qualified to teach up to A Level.
Job Requirements:
•
A degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field.
•
A recognized teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
•
Experience instructing Chemistry at secondary and/or post-16 levels.
•
Robust subject knowledge throughout the Chemistry curriculum, alongside the ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons effectively.
•
Knowledge of safeguarding, differentiation, and proficient classroom management techniques.
•
Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
•
C2 level English proficiency (or equivalent).
