We are in search of enthusiastic, thoughtful, and committed Early Childhood educators to join our team, guiding our youngest students in their academic, social, and emotional development within a bilingual, inquiry-driven setting.
As a Preschool Spanish Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for leading a Spanish immersion preschool classroom utilizing an 80-20 immersion model. By becoming a part of our lively educational community, you will significantly influence the educational experiences of our students, emphasizing both academic achievement and social-emotional growth.
•
Design and implement engaging, well-organized lessons that link classroom learning to real-world contexts, fostering enthusiasm and academic success in alignment with IB and state standards.
•
Tailor instruction through various developmentally suitable teaching and assessment methods to cater to the diverse needs of all learners.
•
Observe and nurture the academic, emotional, and social growth of students.
•
Uphold high standards for student behavior to promote a positive and effective classroom atmosphere.
•
Meaningfully incorporate technology to enhance student learning experiences.
•
Cultivate a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families.
•
Collaborate effectively with colleagues, leadership, and staff throughout the school.
•
Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to a culture of ongoing improvement.
•
Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings.
•
Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
•
Fluency in both English and Spanish
•
Authorization to work in the U.S.
•
Master’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred
•
A minimum of 3 years of experience in Preschool education
•
Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs is preferred
