Job Detail

We are on the lookout for a Teacher of Science, ideally with a specialization in Chemistry, to become a part of our accomplished Science Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educators who prioritize student-centered learning.

The successful applicant will:


Exhibit a strong enthusiasm for teaching and learning in the sciences.


Be capable of instructing all sciences at KS3 and KS4.


Possess experience in teaching Chemistry at the GCSE level.


Have experience with A Level Chemistry, or a willingness to teach it (preferred).


Effectively utilize practical experiments, demonstrations, and a variety of innovative teaching methods to engage and challenge students.


Demonstrate a commitment to keeping abreast of current scientific advancements and effectively integrating technology and digital resources to enhance the learning experience in science education.


Contribute to the continuous improvement of the science curriculum and departmental materials.


Provide high-quality instruction while maintaining a strong awareness of pastoral responsibilities.


Employ data effectively to assist student progress.


Hold an accredited science degree and a relevant teaching qualification.


Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement.
