· Inclusivity
· Growth Mindset

· Well-Being

Citizens School Dubai offers an exciting and innovative work environment. The successful applicant will be part of a dedicated team of PE mentors, collaborating across all facets of the school.

The team partners with Senior Leaders to ensure a curriculum that is comprehensive, sequential, and relevant, catering to the diverse needs of all students. We prioritize the well-being of every learner, providing exceptional pastoral support and encouragement.

All mentors exemplify the values of Citizens School and foster a culture that inspires, empowers, and allows learners to flourish, establishing Citizens School as a beacon of excellence.

Our mission is firmly rooted in ‘Inspiring, Empowering, and enabling all learners to Thrive.’

As a mentor, your role is to integrate and advance this vision in all your activities. You will guide students in uncovering their potential and pathways, empowering them to take charge of their learning and thrive in their own unique ways.

Our personalized curriculum, the Citizens Future Framework, emphasizes 4 key areas:

1. Entrepreneurship. This demonstrates our commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and initiative. It promotes collaboration and encourages students to recognize opportunities, take informed risks, and effect meaningful change. Our distinctive curriculum develops entrepreneurial mindsets, enabling learners to apply their ideas in practical contexts and become adaptable, influential global leaders.

2. Transdisciplinary Project-Based Learning (PBL). This approach integrates the British Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate framework, inspiring, empowering, and enabling students to thrive by merging academic rigor with inquiry-based learning. It allows them to address real-world challenges while honing critical thinking and collaboration skills.

3. "Everyone known and known well." Each learner is acknowledged as a unique individual. Through personalized learning experiences and strong relationships with mentors, we ensure that every learner's strengths, needs, and aspirations are recognized and nurtured. This cultivates a supportive community where every student is valued, respected, and given the opportunity to thrive.

4. An inquiry-based approach encourages learners to become curious thinkers and problem-solvers. By asking questions, they explore and investigate to develop their understanding. Through research, they connect concepts across disciplines and relate them to real-world scenarios, fostering a passion for discovery.
