About This Role
About Saint Too Bloom Academy
Saint Too Bloom Academy is an innovative secondary school located in Hong Kong, focused on entrepreneurship, bilingual education, and progressive learning. Our dedicated team of educators, engineers, and entrepreneurs is committed to equipping young individuals to excel in an ever-evolving landscape.
Building on the foundation laid by our sister institution, Bloom KKCA Academy, which opened its doors in 2021, we have been at the forefront of bilingual, interdisciplinary, and project-driven education, establishing collaborations across the realms of education, business, and social innovation. In 2024, we broadened our horizons with a secondary campus, offering Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level curricula alongside a tailored school-based Key Stage 3 program. Additionally, we have introduced two new pathways—the HKDSE and a US-accredited project-based route—to cater to a variety of learners.
We are currently seeking passionate educators in the field of music who are dedicated to empowering students as we develop a vibrant and inclusive music program for our emerging learners.
Position Overview
We are in search of an energetic, skilled, and inspiring Secondary Music Teacher. The ideal candidate will guide students in perceiving music not merely as an academic discipline but as a means of self-discovery and understanding of their environment.
The chosen applicant will instruct students from Grade 7 to 12, covering Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A Level (CIE and Edexcel). A proven track record of effectively preparing senior students for external examinations is essential.
Emphasizing our mission to nurture compassionate creators and social entrepreneurs, we are looking for educators who are eager to innovate and adapt existing curricula to incorporate experiential learning, leverage technology, and embrace novel pedagogical approaches, including project-based learning.
As our music program aims to be inclusive of a diverse student body, we encourage teachers who excel in varied classroom settings and collaborative environments. The capacity to differentiate instruction, support individual learners, and effectively teach music is crucial.
Personal Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience
• BA in Music (or related field).
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Teaching License).
• At least five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience or equivalent.
• Proven experience in preparing students for the IGCSE examination. Familiarity with other curricula, such as A-Level and IB, is highly advantageous.
• Experience with HKDSE is a plus.
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Given our bilingual environment, fluency in Putonghua is mandatory.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues in English.
• Experience in curriculum development and assessment design.
• A dedication to innovative, forward-thinking education, including project-based learning.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

• Advanced degree in education or Music teaching.
• A long-term commitment to residing in Hong Kong and contributing to the initial growth of the school.
• Strong knowledge of educational technology.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development.

• A driven individual motivated by the potential for professional development and career progression in a new school setting.
