KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Deliver stimulating and effective English instruction for primary students, adhering to international best practices.


Design and implement engaging lessons that accommodate various learning styles, utilizing contemporary teaching strategies and technologies.


Assess student progress through both formative and summative evaluations to uphold high academic standards.


Provide pastoral care, supporting student well-being and working alongside the school’s well-being team.


Encourage student participation in extra-curricular activities, literacy initiatives, and enrichment programs.


Contribute to curriculum enhancement and school development efforts.


Foster a positive classroom atmosphere with high standards of behavior and discipline.


Collaborate with fellow educators to share effective teaching practices and support professional development objectives.


Communicate regularly with parents and stakeholders regarding student progress.


Stay updated with educational trends and engage in continuous professional development.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:


A relevant degree in Education, English, or a related discipline, along with a valid teaching qualification.


Experience teaching English at the primary level, preferably in an international or bilingual context.


The ability to motivate and engage young learners, nurturing a passion for reading, writing, and communication.


Strong skills in adapting instruction for a diverse range of learners.


Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to forge strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.


Experience incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.


A commitment to ongoing professional growth.


A solid understanding of safeguarding and student welfare practices.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
