To become part of our team in August 2026, we are seeking a qualified and passionate Teacher of Design Technology, preferably with experience in teaching IB programmes (MYP and/or DP Design Technology).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•
Deliver captivating lessons in Design Technology in line with the IB (MYP/DP) framework.
•
Design innovative, hands-on lessons that cultivate technical, design, and problem-solving abilities.
•
Utilize the IB design cycle and inquiry-based learning methodologies.
•
Ensure the safe and proficient use of tools, machinery, and materials.
•
Evaluate student work using IB assessment criteria and offer constructive feedback.
•
Foster student well-being by actively participating in pastoral care.
•
Promote participation in design competitions, clubs, and maker activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
•
A relevant degree in Design Technology, Product Design, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•
A recognized teaching qualification and experience within IB programmes (MYP and/or DP).
•
Comprehensive practical knowledge of workshop tools, materials, and safety protocols.
•
The capacity to inspire creativity and innovative thinking among students.
•
Proficiency with CAD/CAM and digital design technologies.
•
Strong differentiation skills to cater to diverse learning needs.
•
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
