The International German School Hefei (IGS) is an emerging international institution with a bilingual program, situated in the vibrant city of Hefei, which is about a two-hour train ride from Shanghai. To enhance our international division, we are in search of a dedicated and qualified English Teacher for our Primary and/or Secondary School.

01.08.2025

Working Hours:
Full-time

Contract Duration:
3 years or by mutual agreement

Job Description:
Engaging in full-time English instruction within the Primary and/or Secondary sections.

Candidate Profile:

- A degree in English, Education, or a related discipline
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or its equivalent)
- Experience in international or bilingual educational settings is preferred
- Knowledge of international curricula (such as Cambridge, IB PYP/MYP) is a plus
- Strong skills in classroom management and intercultural communication
- Familiarity with methodologies for language acquisition (EAL/CLIL) is advantageous
