Job Description:

  • Deliver high-quality, inquiry-based instruction that supports diverse learners and promotes critical thinking, agency, and international-mindedness.

  • Differentiate teaching, integrate digital literacy, and create engaging learning experiences that build on students’ prior knowledge.

  • Support English language development while valuing students’ mother tongues.

  • Develop and implement effective formative and summative assessments; provide timely, meaningful feedback; maintain accurate student records.

  • Collaborate with team members to plan and refine teaching and learning, contributing actively to weekly meetings and curriculum documentation.

  • Communicate professionally with students, colleagues, and families, using school platforms effectively (e.g., ManageBac).

  • Contribute to the wider school community through events, committees, and co-curricular activities; model a growth mindset and positive professional culture.

  • Support school improvement initiatives and foster respectful, collaborative relationships within a multicultural environment.

Job Requirements:

Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways:

  • Bachelor degree or higher in Education, specializing in a relevant teaching subject or grade level.

  • OR Bachelor degree or higher in a non-education field + A valid teaching license specifying the subject(s) and level(s) the teacher is certified to teach.

  • OR Bachelor degree or higher in a non-education field + PGCE and QTS, with certification aligned to the teaching subject and grade level.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting (IBDP preferred, if applicable).

  • Demonstrated ability to support diverse learners and apply modern pedagogical practices.

Compensation

£30,000 - £45,000+ (Regional Equivalent)
