About This Role

Academia Britanica Cuscatleca (ABC) is a values-driven IB World School dedicated to offering a world-class education to an internationally minded community. As a long-established, non-profit institution accredited by CIS, we are located in a beautiful, warm region of Central America and currently serve 1,500 students.

ABC provides a comprehensive education for ages 3 to 18, starting with our preschool, Baby Bulldogs, and extending through to the IB diploma. Humanities Teacher

We are seeking an individual to support our MYP and IBDP programs, where we offer subjects such as History, Geography, Business Management, and Economics.

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Relevant and current teaching experience
- A postgraduate degree with PGCE/QTS (or equivalent)
- A strong commitment to enabling student success
- A dedication to personal professional development
- A flexible, collaborative, and supportive teaching approach
- A commitment to values-based learning and contributing to pastoral care
- A solid understanding of safeguarding responsibilities when working with children
- Previous experience or familiarity with IB programs is advantageous
