The individual in this role will lead, oversee, and be accountable for: Leadership & Management Student Achievement & Well-being Parental Engagement & Communication Administrative & Operational Responsibilities Supporting the Behaviour for Learning Policy. Promoting the school’s vision and ethos to ensure every child flourishes. Key Responsibilities As a member of the Extended Leadership Team, your responsibilities will include: Defining a clear vision for Key Stage 1 (KS1) that aligns with the school’s values, while upholding high expectations and standards. Advocating for student progress, well-being, and positive behavior by establishing ambitious performance targets and nurturing an inclusive learning atmosphere. Supervising curriculum implementation, assessment, and the professional development of staff to guarantee innovative and uniform teaching methods. Motivating and effectively managing teams, encouraging collaboration, professional development, and a dedication to excellence. Ensuring the strategic use of resources, from financial planning to the allocation of staff, to support outstanding learning outcomes. Fostering strong connections with parents, guardians, external partners, and the local community, serving as an ambassador for both the school and Key Stage 1. Promoting High Performance Learning Leading staff in advocating the HPL framework and cultivating a culture of excellence. Driving enhancements in learner outcomes and nurturing cognitive and personal development. Assisting in staff training and development in alignment with HPL principles.
