BASIS Bilingual School Guangming Shenzhen, our fourth bilingual campus, commenced operations in Fall 2024 in the lively Guangming District of Shenzhen, China. As an ICT & Computer Science teacher, you will engage and inspire students' inherent curiosity by introducing them to fundamental concepts. In the primary grades, you will cover STEAM topics such as coding, 3D modeling, robotics, electrical engineering, multimedia, and productivity. You will emphasize a designer's perspective to tackle real-world challenges, assisting students in making connections across subjects and applying concepts in various contexts. In middle and high school, you will guide students in exploring design strategies and methodologies, data organization, and common algorithms, equipping them for success in future AP testing.

You will also:
- Build meaningful relationships with each student to ensure a personalized and successful learning journey
- Guide students to achieve academic excellence, personal responsibility, and intellectual growth
- Commit to continuous professional development by participating in ongoing training, collaborating with peers, and staying updated on the latest educational techniques and best practices in your field
- Contribute positively to a collaborative school community

A qualified candidate should possess strong ICT-CS skills. Experience in Design/Technology teaching and knowledge of ISTE standards is preferred, along with familiarity with at least one programming language, block-based coding, 3D modeling software, robotics/electrical engineering, productivity/multimedia, and CSTA standards.

- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in your subject area (Elementary and Early Education degrees are also highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5).
- Experience: A minimum of two years as the lead teacher in a classroom, a requirement for obtaining a working visa.
