Job Overview
This position is centered on providing exceptional instruction in Biology at the AS/A Level while also contributing to the broader Science curriculum at KS3 and IGCSE. The educator will actively engage students through hands-on practical work, inquiry-based learning, and demonstrate strong subject knowledge.
Instruct Biology at AS/A Level, preparing students for their external examinations.

Teach KS3 Science and IGCSE Science, ensuring students have a robust foundational understanding.

Design and implement engaging, practical, and inquiry-driven lessons.
•
Assess, track, and assist student progress through effective feedback and intervention strategies.
•
Organize and oversee laboratory activities while adhering to safety regulations.
•
Participate in curriculum planning and development within the Science department.
•
Encourage and support extracurricular initiatives.
•
Work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain effective communication with students and parents.
Requirements
•
Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field.
•
At least 2 years of experience in a similar role at an international school.
•
Recognized teaching qualification, such as PGCE with QTS or an equivalent credential.
•
Familiarity with the Cambridge International Curriculum.
•
Native English speaker or possess excellent English proficiency in both spoken and written forms.
•
Demonstrated strong classroom management and communication abilities.
•
Dedication to Values-based Education and Enquiry Learning.
•
Experience in teaching AS/A Level Biology.
