RBIS International School is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Early Years Teacher to become a part of our Early Years team. The ideal candidate will have a strong enthusiasm for play-based education, a commitment to fostering young children's growth through exploration and ongoing provision, and the ability to establish a supportive and engaging classroom atmosphere where children feel secure, confident, and motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities
•
Plan and implement exceptional Early Years learning experiences that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
•
Develop a dynamic play-based learning environment that encourages children to gain independence, curiosity, and confidence.
•
Design and organize a classroom that incorporates effective continuous provision, ensuring resources facilitate exploration, creativity, and child-led learning.
•
Carefully observe children and utilize assessment for learning to guide their next steps and support individual growth.
•
Monitor and document children’s progress through continuous observation and formative assessment.
•
Build strong relationships with children and their families, ensuring open communication regarding learning, development, and wellbeing.
•
Collaborate effectively as part of the Early Years and Primary team, contributing positively to planning, events, and broader school initiatives.
•
Support the social, emotional, and communication development of children through nurturing relationships and positive behavior guidance.
•
Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.

Person Specification
The successful candidate will:
•
Possess a relevant teaching qualification (Early Childhood / EYFS / Primary).
•
Have demonstrated experience in an Early Years setting.
•
Exhibit a solid understanding of play-based learning and continuous provision.
•
Be knowledgeable about assessment for learning and formative assessment practices in Early Years.
•
Be a cooperative team player, capable of closely collaborating with colleagues and support staff.
•
Have a passion for nurturing children’s holistic development, encompassing social, emotional, and communication skills.
•
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards in teaching and learning.
