About This Role
We are seeking a passionate MYP English Language & Literature educator to become part of our vibrant team starting in August 2026.
Mission: To enhance student learning through meticulously planned, delivered, and assessed lessons, ensuring that students have opportunities for growth in all dimensions: academic, physical, socio-emotional, and ethical. Foster respect for and understanding of the culture of Qatar.
Responsibilities:
•
Design, instruct, and evaluate engaging, globally significant learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of students, in alignment with the relevant IB programme requirements.
•
Establish an inspiring classroom atmosphere.
•
Participate in student activities outside the classroom.
•
Support and contribute to school events as needed.
•
Actively engage in curriculum planning and development, including interdisciplinary projects and the cultivation of transdisciplinary skills and attributes outlined in the IB Learner Profile.
•
Employ inquiry-based learning as the foundation for teaching and learning.
•
Incorporate technology to enhance students’ learning experiences effectively.
•
Provide students with consistent feedback, both verbal and written, and encourage them to reflect on their progress in response to this feedback.
Requirements:
•
A teaching qualification appropriate for this position.
•
Proficiency in ICT.
•
Relevant teaching experience.
•
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and Spanish is a plus.
•
Double degrees, a master's degree, and international experience are highly regarded.
•
Experience teaching the IB MYP is preferred, although exceptional candidates without prior IB experience will also be considered.
