Role Summary
Foster a nurturing, language-rich environment for early years that integrates inquiry, play, and essential skill development. Support the holistic growth of each child through meaningful relationships, structured routines, and purposeful provocations in accordance with the PYP Early Years framework.
Key Responsibilities
Craft engaging, inquiry-driven learning experiences with a strong emphasis on literacy and numeracy foundations.
Utilize observation, documentation, and ongoing resources to identify and support the next steps in learning.
Engage with families to share updates on progress and provide strategies for supporting learning at home.
Work collaboratively with assistants and specialists to enhance inclusion and promote student wellbeing.
Participate in PYP planning, moderation, and initiatives aimed at continuous improvement in early years education.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or Primary Education (or PGCE/teaching license).
Preferred qualifications include experience or training in IB PYP Early Years and international school settings.
Proven expertise in play-based teaching methods and early literacy and numeracy development.
A strong dedication to safeguarding and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
